The remaining Nazi leadership is expected to surrender any day but not all Nazis are in agreement. When the guards of the castle turned POW prison, Castle Itter, flee their post, a group of French political prisoners are forced to defend themselves. Rumors of a rogue Nazi captain hellbent on maintaining the Third Reich threaten the lives of all the prisoners at Castle Itter. With the help of members of the German resistance, a small band of American soldiers, and one Sherman tank, Castle Itter makes its final stand in the final hour of WW2.　　It’s 1945 and Hitler is dead.
